Consumer Reports has given the all-new Lexus GX 460 SUV a “dont buy” rating due to problems that came up during routine handling tests, which could lead to a rollover in real world driving.

During a test of the SUV’s performance the rear of the vehicle was able to slide until the vehicle was nearly sideways at which point the stability control finally kicked in. Due to the fact that the stability control took longer than normal to correct the situation and the fact that a similar situation in rear world driving could lead to a rollover, the publication has labeled the GX 460 as a safety risk.

Toyota has yet to issue a comment.
