It’s been rumored that Honda is working on a fourth crossover that will slot between the CR-V and Pilot models and now we may have more proof. Patent drawings of what looks like a new Honda crossover have leaked.
It’s been reported that the new Honda crossover will be smaller than the Pilot with room for only five passengers, which is also supported by these drawings. There’s even been a report that the new crossover will revive the Passport name.
Looking closer at these photos, the styling seems to look a little interesting with the front taking cues from the now defunct Honda Crosstour, while the rear does look a bit like a Ford Edge. Under the skin, the new crossover will share its platform with the Pilot, giving buyers a more premium crossover than the CR-V.
Even though Honda has yet to confirm the new crossover, it’s expected that it will arrive for the 2019 model year.
