Land Rover has announced the updates to the 2021 Range Rover Sport, with the biggest being the addition of two new special edition models, the SVR Carbon Edition and the HSE Silver Edition.

2021 Range Rover Sport HSE Silver Edition

The 2021 Range Rover Sport SVR Carbon Edition adds lots of carbon fiber to the flagship Range Rover Sport. This includes an exposed carbon fiber hood center section, front bumper insert surrounds, main grille and vent surrounds, carbon fiber interior trim finishers, a carbon fiber engine cover and 22-inch Gloss Black forged alloy wheels.

The 2021 Range Rover Sport HSE Silver Edition features a Shadow Atlas finish on the front grille surround, hood vent inserts, door handles, and Range Rover badges. It also gets 21-inch five split-spoke Gloss Black alloy wheels with a contrast Diamond Turned finish. The HSE Silver comes in Fuji White, Santorini Black, Firenze Red, Eiger Grey, Lantau Bronze, Hakuba Silver and Carpathian Grey.

2021 Range Rover Sport Premium Black Pack

There’s also a new Premium Black Pack available for the Range Rover Sport P525 HSE Dynamic, which adds Gloss Black detailing to the badges, grille mesh and surround, fender and hood vent surrounds and mirror caps. It also has a black contrast roof and a choice of Gloss Black 21 or 22-inch wheels. Inside, the Premium Black Pack features an Ebony interior with Ebony headliner and Grand Black veneer.

The Range Rover Sport offers a range of four-, six- and eight-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines, including mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrain options. The mild hybrid 3.0-liter Ingenium inline six-cylinder gasoline is available with either 355 horsepower or 395 hp. A 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 diesel engine is available in the Range Rover Sport HSE Silver Edition with 254 hp and 443 pound-feet of torque.

If a big V8 is your thing, the 5.0-liter V8 supercharged gasoline engine provides packs 518 hp and 461 lb-ft of torque in the HSE Dynamic and P525 Autobiography models. The big daddy are the Range Rover Sport SVR and SVR Carbon Edition models which have 575 hp on tap.

Lastly the greenest option is the the P400e plug-in hybrid powertrain combines a 296 hp turbocharged four-cylinder Ingenium gasoline engine with an 114 hp elctric motor, for a combined output of 398 hp.

The 2021 Range Rover Sport starts at $70,850, including the destination fees.
