Both SUVs will be powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder gasoline engine that’s mated to an electric motor. The four-cylinder will generated around 295 horsepower and 295 lb-ft. of torque, while the electric motor will add another 201 horsepower and 332 lb-ft. Even with that much power under the hood, the Range Rover plug-in hybrid models will be able to travel up to 30 miles in EV mode.

The plug-in hybrid powertrain will be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and get its power from a lithium-ion battery.
