Lamborghini continues to make supercars that we can only dream of owning and here’s another one. The 2021 Lamborghini Sian Roadster is an 819 horsepower hybrid supercar, but of course it’s already sold out.

The Sian Roadster is the convertible version of the Sian that debuted in 2019. It’s powered by a V12 engine and a 48-volt electric motor that’s mated to a seven-speed automated manual transmission. With 819-hp on tap, the Sian Roadster can reach 62 mph in less than 2.9 seconds, which is only 0.1 seconds slower than the coupe.

Instead of a traditional battery to power the electric motor, the Sian Roadster uses supercapacitors that accumulate and discharge energy. The supercapacitors are lighter than traditional lithium-ion batteries and pack more power.

If you love the styling of the Sian coupe, you’ll be happy to see that the Sian Roadster is nearly identical with its sharp lines. The Sian Roadster pictured here is painted in Blu Uranus, which Lamborghini says encapsulates “the blue of the sky and the green of the fields, evoking the freedom and driving elation delivered by the open top Sian Roadster’s performance.”

It also rides on Oro Electrum wheels: the color chosen by Lamborghini to signify electrification.

Now the bad news is that Lamborghini only plans to build 19 Sian Roadsters and they are all already sold out.
