Kia is getting ready to introduce a new larger three-row crossover and luckily we already have an idea what it will look like. Two years ago Kia unveiled the Telluride concept and according to the latest report, Kia’s new large SUV will look a lot like the Telluride concept.

Kia Telluride Concept

According to Motor Trend, the production version of the Telluride concept will retain the concept’s muscular exterior as Kia hopes to move further upscale. The Telluride will also send some of its design cues down to the rest of the lineup, since it will be the first model to debut Kia’s new design language.

Inside the Kia Telluride will have room for up to eight passengers, while a seven passenger version with second row captain’s chairs will be optional on higher end models. Under the skin, the Telluride will be based on a front-wheel drive platform that will also be shared with a new larger Hyundai SUV that will debut at the same time as the Telluride. There’s a chance that it will be called the Hyundai Palisade, but we’ll have to wait and see. Both SUVs will likely debut next year as 2020 models.
