The all-new 2019 Toyota Avalon is going to start rolling into showrooms next month and now Toyota has released all the pricing details for the fifth-generation Avalon. The base Avalon XLE is priced at $36,395, which is priced $2,000 higher than the outgoing model, although Toyota is quick to point out there are more standard features on the 2019 model.
The standard 2019 Avalon will be offered in XLE, XSE, Limited and Touring trim levels, while the 2019 Avalon Hybrid is offered in XLE, XSE and Limited trim levels. The pricing for the 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid starts at $37,395 and in each trim level it’s only a $1,000 more than the standard Avalon.
The 2019 Toyota Avalon is based on Toyota’s new TNGA platform and can be powered by either a 3.5L V6 with 301-horsepower and 267-lb.-ft. that’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission or a 215 horsepower 2.5-liter hybrid system with a CVT. The Avalon XLE is the most efficient gas powered Avalon with a 22/32 mpg rating, while the Avalon Hybrid XLE is rated at 43/44 mpg.
