The 2019 Kia Forte may cost a bit more than the last generation model, but it does add a lot more standard features, like automatic headlights, a 3.5-inch LCD display in the gauge cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and lane keeping assist.

The 2019 Forte is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft. of torque that can be mated to either a six-speed manual or a new Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). The most efficient version is the 2019 Kia Forte FE, which is rated at 31/41 mpg, while the standard Forte with the IVT transmission is rated at 30/40 mpg. The six-speed manual equipped version is rated at 27/37 mpg.
