The 2019 Kia Forte has been completely revamped and if you look closely you’ll even see some styling cues from the awesome Kia Stinger. While the 2019 Kia Forte has an extra dose of style and more features, it comes at a cost, since the 2019 Forte is starts at almost $1k more than the outgoing model, with a starting price at $18,585.
The 2019 Kia Forte may cost a bit more than the last generation model, but it does add a lot more standard features, like automatic headlights, a 3.5-inch LCD display in the gauge cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and lane keeping assist.
The 2019 Forte is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft. of torque that can be mated to either a six-speed manual or a new Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). The most efficient version is the 2019 Kia Forte FE, which is rated at 31/41 mpg, while the standard Forte with the IVT transmission is rated at 30/40 mpg. The six-speed manual equipped version is rated at 27/37 mpg.
The 2019 Kia Forte will be available in FE, LXS, S and EX trim levels.
