Kia is celebrating the cross-Atlantic collaboration between the U.S. and the Stinger GT’s Germany-based development roots with the release of the very limited 2019 Stinger GT Atlantica. The Atlantica edition adds unique paint, wheels, a Nappa leather interior and exclusive numbered badging.
The 2019 Kia Stinger GT Atlantica is painted in Deep Chroma Blue metallic exterior paint. It borrows its 19-inch alloy wheels from the European Stinger and the large-font Stinger badge across the rear deck lid has been pulled off the Korean-spec Stinger. Inside there’s an exclusive Espresso Brown Nappa leather interior, a Surround View Monitor, a wireless phone charger, and heated rear outboard seats. To let your friends know that your Stinger GT is special, it has three Stinger Atlantica badges, one on the front center console and two that flank both front fenders.
“We recognize Stinger is something special and wanted to commemorate the 2019 model year with a stand-out variant,” said Orth Hedrick, vice president, product planning, Kia Motors America (KMA). “Out of the box, the Stinger is a tried-and-true sport sedan with much of its development taking place on Germany’s grueling Nürburgring race circuit. The Atlantica edition introduces more European flare while distinguishing itself with exclusive badging and features not previously offered by Kia in the U.S. market.”
Only 500 Kia Stinger GT Atlantica models will be produced and it arrives this summer.
