The five-door version gets the same aggressive exterior styling as the three-door, which should make it a great alternative to the VW GTI. Under the hood it will be powered by a 201-hp 1.6-liter GDI turbocharged engine that is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
The cee’d GT is for European buyers, but if you’d love to see something similar offered in the US, Kia has already unveiled the five-door 2014 Forte, which is powered by the same turbocharged engine.
