Next week Jeep is finally going to reveal the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, but that’s just the first of several new models that Jeep is planning. In December Jeep is going to officially reveal the Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid, although we already saw it earlier this year at CES.
Although the Jeep Wrangler 4xe was at CES, Jeep did not reveal the powertrain details for the electrified Wrangler. It’s rumored that the Wrangler PHEV will be powered by the Wrangler’s current 3.6-liter V6 that will be mated to the electrified parts.
The Wrangler 4xe won’t look that different from the other Wrangler models with the exception of 4xe badges and a charging port.
