Stellantis has already announced many of its electrification plans for its various brands, but on Tuesday it gave us a timeline of when some of the EVs will arrive. With that updated timeline, we now know that Jeep will introduce its first electric vehicle in the first half of 2023.

We don’t know if the new Jeep EV will be based on a current model or be something completely new. There are rumors that the Jeep EV will be a crossover that’s smaller than the Renegade. Alfa Romeo and Fiat will also introduce a similar crossover EV.

A few weeks ago Stellantis announced that it will introduce four electric platforms that will be used by its 14 brands. The platforms are called the STLA Small, STLA Medium, STLA Large, and STLA Frame. The EVs will have a range between 300-500 miles.

Jeep eventually plans to offer an electric version in every segment that it’s in by 2025. This means that a Wrangler EV is highly likely, which was previewed by the Wrangler Magneto concept.
