The 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid is almost here, since Jeep has announced that production kicked off this week at its Toledo North plant in Ohio.

The Wrangler 4xe is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, two electric motors and a 17 kWh battery. The Wrangler 4xe has 375 hp and 470 lb-ft. of torque on tap and a 25-mile electric-only driving range.

Jeep hasn’t announced the pricing for the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe, but it will be offered in three trim levels: 4xe, Sahara 4xe and Rubicon 4xe.
