Jeep Cherokee SRT in the Works?

According to sources that spoke with Allpar, Chrysler is working on a hotter version of the new Jeep Cherokee.

According to sources that spoke with Allpar, Chrysler is working on a hotter version of the new Jeep Cherokee. The Cherokee SRT is supposedly in the works and will feature a more powerful engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel-drive.
It hasn’t been confirmed what will power the Cherokee SRT, but it’s rumored that a turbocharged 3.0L Pentastar V6 is in the works with around 375 horsepower for the single turbocharged version and around 410-hp with twin turbochargers.
