2016 Jaguar XE

Jaguar has its eyes set on the BMW 3 Series with the new XE and that includes fighting the high-performance M3. According to Auto Express, Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operations division is working on a high-performance XE that will pack a 5.0L V8.
The XE SVR will be powered by the same supercharged 5.0L V8 as the Range Rover Sport SVR, but it will only generate around 489 horsepower in the XE. The V8 will be mated to an eight-speed automatic and with that much power under the hood, it should reach 0-60 mph in around four seconds.

We can also expect the XE SVR to get a more aggressive body kit with a new front bumper, flared wheel arches and beefier side sills. Out back the XE SVR will also get a rear diffuser and quad tailpipes.

If the latest report is accurate, we can expect the XE SVR to arrive in early 2016.
