We’ve been waiting for news about a new Lexus flagship crossover, which was likely previewed by the LF-1 Limitless concept earlier this year. Although Lexus hasn’t confirmed when its new flagship crossover will debut, a new report claims that a high performance F version is also in the works.
According to Japan’s Spyder7, the new Lexus flagship crossover will arrive with the same 3.5L twin-turbocharged V6 as the LS 500, which will generate around 424 horsepower. The V6 will also be mated to two electric motors to give it even more power and all-wheel drive capability, but if you want something better a high-performance F version is also reportedly in the works.
The latest report claims that Lexus is also working on an F version of its new flagship crossover, which will be powered by the same 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 as the upcoming LC F. If the report is accurate, the V8 will generate 661 horsepower, which is more power than you’ll find under the hood of the Lamborghini Urus SUV.
If the report is accurate, Lexus will reveal the new flagship crossover in 2020 ahead of its arrival in 2021.
