Infiniti has revealed the new Q30 small ahead of its official world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Designed for more urban buyers, the small Q30 looks close to the concept version that previewed it two years ago.

The Q30 will share its platform with the Mercedes-Benz A-, CLA- and GLA-Class models, but visually you won’t be able to see it. Under the hood the Q30 will be powered by a range of diesel and gasoline four-cylinder engines that will be donated by Mercedes-Benz or Renault-Nissan.

The jury is still out if it will be offered in the U.S.
