Hyundai has announced that the i30 Fastback N will be the third high performance N model when it debuts later this year in Europe. Hyundai is in the final testing stages of the i30 Fastback N and has released a few teaser photos of it being put through the paces on the Nürburgring.

Hyundai is currently testing the i30 Fastback N on a variety of road surfaces around Europe, including the Nordschleife circuit at the Nürburgring in Germany, where Hyundai has its own technical center. When the i30 Fastback N arrives it join the i30 N and Veloster N.

We’ll have to wait until later this year when the i30 Fastback N debuts to see if it offers the same powertrain options as the five-door i30 N. The i30 N is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder with 247 horsepower, but the optional Performance Package bumps up the rating to 271 horsepower.

Hyundai hasn’t announced any plans to sell the i30 Fastback in the US, so it’s unlikely that the i30 Fastback N will be offered here either.
