A few months ago Hyundai unveiled the updated 2022 Kona and now we have our first look at the updated Kona Electric, which has debuted first in Europe.

You’ll immediately notice the new face on the Kona Electric, which now looks sleeker since the grille has been deleted with new headlights and a new lower front fascia. At the rear and side the look is pretty much the same.

Inside there are bigger changes, like a new 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster and same size infotainment screen. The base infotainment screen has also been enlarged to 8 inches and now has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Sadly the larger screen still requires wires.

We’ll have to wait until Hyundai unveils the US-spec version to find out if there are any mileage improvements, but currently the Kona Electric has a 258-mile range.
