Yup you read that right. Hyundai has some big performance goals for the Tucson, since it has confirmed that it’s working on a Tucson N, which will be the next model from its new N performance sub-brand.
According to Auto Express, the Hyundai Tucson N will arrive in about two years, which means that it will debut before the next-generation Tucson. Hyundai is keeping most of the details under wraps, but we do know that it will have around 340 horsepower, which could turn the Tucson into a poor man’s Porsche Macan.
The Tucson N will serve as the halo vehicle for the N sub-brand until a new halo model arrives. Hyundai hasn’t provided any big details about the new halo model, but a source did tell Auto Express, “We are going to take our time with this one – because when it appears it will blow everything else away in its sector.”
