Hyundai Concept Genesis Pics Released

Only a few days before the actual unveiling, Hyundai’s Genesis Concept pictures have been released. The concept will be officially unveiled at the New York Auto Show next month.

Even though the car is labeled as a "concept" word is that the car will be released sometime in 2008. The rear-wheel-drive sedan will look very close to the concept and will start under 30k.

According to The Car Connection:

The Genesis concept is
formed around a rear-wheel-drive architecture, a first for an American-market
Hyundai. With a weight distribution of 53:47, a new "Tau" V-8 engine with more
than 300 horsepower and a six-speed automatic transmission, Hyundai says the
Genesis will accelerate to 60 mph in less than 6.0 seconds and will reach a top
speed of 130 mph.

There are also rumors that the car could be offered with a 3.6L V-6 and a hybrid powertrain.

The car still looks a lot like the new Camry/ ES350.
