We’ve been waiting patiently for Honda to reveal the 2022 Civic Si and now it looks like that could happen any day now. A recent report claimed that the new Civic Si will start arriving in November and now dealers have confirmed that it will arrive in November and December.

The Civic 11 Forum has a post from dealer sources that claim the Civic Si will arrive soon. “A couple of dealers recently confirmed that their first customer-ordered Si’s are showing up on orders and scheduled to arrive in November.”

It was originally reported that the Civic Si was going to arrive in October, so it looks like its arrival has been pushed back a bit. We can likely blame the chip shortage here for the delay.

Honda has already confirmed that the Civic Si will only be offered as a sedan with a manual transmission. We don’t know yet what will power the new Civic Si, but it’s expected to get a reworked version of the current 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder.

After the Civic Si arrives, we’ll also get a new Civic Type R in 2022.
