Last fall Honda unveiled the cute Urban EV concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The retro themed little electric hatchback won our hearts and Honda announced that a production version will go on sale in 2019, in Europe. Now Honda has revealed that it will start taking orders for the small EV in early 2019.
“A production version of this highly acclaimed concept will be introduced to Europe during late 2019, and in response to the positive feedback to this model, we expect to open order banks for the Urban EV during early 2019,” stated Senior Vice President, Honda Motor Europe, Philip Ross.
The new EV will be Honda’s first mass-produced electric car sold in Europe.
