Honda is going to follow up this month’s Urban EV concept with a new Sports EV concept next month at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. Honda has released this teaser image of the Sports EV concept, which appears to have the same minimalistic styling as the Urban EV concept.
“Catching the eye with a striking silhouette, friendly face and supple body surfaces, all designed to ensure the car blends into any lifestyle, the Sports EV Concept will have its world premiere in Tokyo.”
The Sports EV concept will also feature AI technology wrapped in a package that Honda says will “deliver a feeling of joy and emotional unity to the drive.” Honda hasn’t announced if the Sports EV concept is a preview of a production model or simply a design study.
The Urban EV concept will also be on stage in Tokyo, in addition to the NeuV that debuted last year at CES and the new CR-V Hybrid. Honda will also use the Tokyo Motor Show to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Super Cub, which includes the debut of the 100 million production anniversary model of Super Cub 110 and a new Super Cub 125C.
