It looks like the Honda CR-Z hybrid is going to get another refresh and a few photos of the refreshed hybrid have surfaced online ahead of its debut.
The low-resolution photos reveal that most of the updates will be the CR-Z’s face, which will get new headlights and a dramatically restyled front bumper. The rear of the refreshed CR-Z will get new taillights and a new bumper. The rest of the exterior changes will include in alloy wheels and possibly a few new color options. Inside the changes will be even smaller with a new steering wheel and center console.

We’ll have to wait and see if there are any updates under the hood to the 1.5L hybrid system. The updated CR-Z will likely debut in October at the Tokyo Motor Show, while its U.S. debut will most likely happen in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Although sales of the current CR-Z haven’t really taken off, there is a report that an all-new CR-Z is expected to arrive sometime in 2017. If the report is true, the next CR-Z will grow in size and may even borrow the Civic Type-R’s turbocharged four-cylinder.
