Honda Concept M, Jade and Crider Concepts Unveiled in Shanghai

Honda has unveiled three new concepts at the Shanghai Motor Show, which preview models that will soon be available in China.

Honda has unveiled three new concepts at the Shanghai Motor Show, which preview models that will soon be available in China. The Concept M previews a new MPV, the Crider is a new sedan for the middle-class and the Jade concept is a new hatchback “people mover.”
Honda_Concept_M

The Concept M is a concept vehicle for the MPV segment developed mainly for Chinese market. Currently, commercial vehicles account for the majority of the MPV market in China. To such an MPV market, Honda will introduce a new-value vehicle that offers the attributes of a passenger car while adding new value through the realization of a comfortable and spacious cabin space made possible by Honda’s packaging technologies, and the fun of driving. A production version of the Concept M will arrive next year.

Honda_Crider_Concept

The Crider concept is a preview of a new sedan that will arrive this June. The Crider is based on the Concept C, which was introduced last year at the Beijing Motor Show. It will slot in between the Civic and Accord in Honda’s Chinese lineup.

Honda_Concept_S_Jade

The Jade concept is based on the Concept S that was also unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show last year. According to Honda the Jade was designed to match the tastes of Chinese customers born in 1980s who are energetic and known for pursuing their dreams. The Jade will go on sale in September.
