Honda Civic Outsells the Camry, F-150 and Corolla in May

Gas prices are so insane right now and car buyers are finally realizing they can’t afford to drive those huge gas guzzlers anymore. The F-150 has been the best selling vehicle in the US for decades, but its reign at the top is soon over. Last month it moved down to the number five spot behind the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.

Here’s the actual breakdown:

Honda Civic = 53,299
Toyota Corolla = 52,826
Toyota Camry = 51,291
Honda Accord = 43,728
Ford F-Series = 42,973

Yes…you read that correct. Based on those numbers the Honda Civic is now the best selling vehicle in the US. Great for Honda..but bad news for Ford which saw its SUV and truck sales decline 44 percent last month.
