In a surprise move, GM has decided to stop putting the silver corporate logo on its vehicles in an attempt to emphasize the four brands that survived GM’s bankruptcy.
The decision was made earlier this month and will start with the 2010 model year.
“We are just really focused on the four core brands and this provided us with another opportunity to make sure they were at the forefront,” GM spokesman Terry Rhadigan said.
According to Rhadigan people outside the midwest do not always link Cadillac or Chevy with GM.
