Genesis has released a preview of its new 3D digital instrument cluster, which will arrive first in the new G70 next year. The digital 12.3-inch screen is the first instrument cluster to use 3D imagery.

The new 3D digital instrument cluster has the ability to track the driver’s eyes and uses stereoscopy to give the illusion of depth. Like other digital instrument clusters, the screen is customizable and if drivers don’t like the 3D effect, it can be turned off.

The new 3D digital instrument cluster will launch in 2019 in the Genesis G70, but as of right now Genesis has only announced that it will be available in Korea. Since the 2019 Genesis G70 has already been announced, Genesis may offer the new screen in the 2020 G70 in the US.
