Genesis recently unveiled the Electrified G80 and now we have our first look at its next electric vehicle, the GV60 electric crossover. The brand’s first electric SUV is based on the same Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) as the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5.

The Genesis GV60 looks about the same size as its Hyundai and Kia cousins. Overall it looks more like a hatchback than a crossover, largely due to its low ride height and sleek rear. We do see several styling cues from the brand’s “Athletic Elegange” design language, which ties it to the other Genesis models. At the front there are the signature quad headlights and at the rear the taillights look similar as well.

Inside the interior of the GV60 looks more upscale than the Ioniq 5 or EV6 with unique touches like its “Crystal Sphere” shift knob. The leather seats also look just as comfy as what you’ll find in the GV80. You’ll also notice that the GV60 features digital side mirrors with exterior cameras that project an image at the base of the A-pillar.

Genesis has not released any specs for the GV60, but it will likely get the same battery packs as the Ioniq 5 and EV6, which should give it a driving range around 300 miles.
