At last month’s dealer meeting in Las Vegas, GM showed dealers an image of a future Cadillac convertible. The convertible is part of a range of future models that Cadillac is planning on introducing.
Cadillac hasn’t revealed any details about the convertible, but it would share its platform with the ATS and CTS sedans. Dealers were also informed about other new models, like a small crossover, an entry-level sedan and a large crossover that would slot in between the SRX and Escalade.

A time frame for the convertible hasn’t been revealed, but a Cadillac spokesman did state that Cadillac would “like to introduce an open car to the portfolio at some point,” but that “it’s not likely to be one of the near-term portfolio additions.”

Back in 2012 GM’s Mark Reuss did reveal that GM was working on a convertible version of the ATS, but that plans to produce it had been put on hold.
