Ford has announced some of the changes to the 2022 Mustang lineup, which includes the introduction of a new Stealth Appearance package for the EcoBoost Premium model. Also the Mustang GT California Special is now available with a GT Performance Package option.
The new Stealth Edition adds 19-inch black wheels, black pony badges, a rear wing, black mirror caps, and clear LED taillamp covers. Inside the appearance package adds a matt and gloss black instrument panel badge and lighted sill plate. The Stealth Edition is available in Atlas Blue, Carbonized Gray, Dark Matter and Shadow Black.
The 2022 Mustang GT California Special features a blacked-out grille, side racing stripes and rear fender scoop. It also gets a special “GT/CS” side stripe trademark that traces from the front fender to the rear fender scoop, a California Special badge in Ebony Black and Race Red , and s honeycomb grille with the “GT/CS” badge. There’s also a larger front splitter from the GT Performance Package.
The GT Performance Package also adds a unique rear wing to the fastback model, while the convertible is available without a spoiler. If you add the GT Performance Package, you get Brembo front brakes, new springs, a larger rear sway bar, a Torsen limited-slip differential and unique 19-inch wheels. Lastly the California Special gets 19-inch wheels, a strut tower brace, suede-trimmed seats and a special California Special script badge on the instrument panel.
The California Special is available in Atlas Blue, Carbonized Gray, Cyber Orange, Dark Matter, Grabber Blue Metallic, Iconic Silver, Rapid Red, Shadow Black and Oxford White.
