Ford has already confirmed the sad news, that the Fiesta will be discontinued by May 2019, but before it officially sends it off, the 2019 Fiesta will get some changes. According to CarsDirect, the 2019 Fiesta will be offered with a new ST trim level, called the ST Line.

Ford Fiesta ST

Before you get too excited, the 2019 Ford Fiesta ST Line is not a hotter version of the Fiesta ST. Instead it’s a toned down version that won’t even get the same 197-hp turbocharged 1.6L engine. Instead of offering the turbocharged EcoBoost engine, the Fiesta ST Line will be powered by a naturally-aspirated 1.6L four-cylinder, but Ford has not confirmed if it will have any performance gains over the standard 120-hp 1.6L that powers the standard Fiesta. The 2019 Fiesta ST Line will also be offered with either a five-speed manual or the 6-speed PowerShift automatic transmission.

While the Fiesta ST Line may not have the same performance parts as the Fiesta ST, on the outside it will almost look just as sporty. The Fiesta ST Line will have the same more aggressive exterior as the ST, which includes the rear spoiler, unique front fascia and dual chrome tipped exhaust. The ST Line will get smaller 16-inch black painted aluminum wheels compared to the ST’s 17-inch Rado Gray wheels.

Inside the 2019 Fiesta ST Line will feature seats with “sport embossed bolsters,” sadly Recaro sport seats won’t be optional.

The good news, if you want a sportier looking Fiesta without the need for the turbocharged engine or six-speed manual, then the Fiesta ST Line is right u your alley. The 2019 Ford Fiesta ST Line also start at $18,500, which is a whopping $3,715 cheaper than the Fiesta ST.
