Last year Ford built custom Mustang AV8R the for the annual Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Gathering of Eagles festival. The car was auctioned off for the charity for $500,000.

This year Ford has produced another Mustang with the same aviation theme, dubbed the AV-X10 Dearborn Doll. It is based off the 2010 Mustang and features 19″ wheels, a rear spoiler, and a lower rear fascia that were all borrowed from the GT500. The glass roof also features a star and bar design.

Under the hood the 4.6L V8 now puts out 550 horsepower thanks to the Ford Racing Performance Parts surpercharger kit. The FR500S exhaust, and FRPP’s Handling Pack are also included.

The car will be auctioned off during the 2009 EAA Air Venture in Oshkosh starting next week.
