Ford is reportedly looking at adding new models to the Lincoln brand in fast-growing segments to revive the struggling brand. According to Automotive News, Ford is studying new segments like the premium small car and crossover segments, which are expected to grow significantly by 2015.
Lincoln does not currently offer a small car in its lineup and the brand also previewed a new smaller crossover with the MKC concept at this year’s Detroit Auto Show. According to one source Lincoln could add a new near-luxury compact sedan to its lineup for 2016. The MKC is expected to arrive by the end of the year.

This week at a MKZ hybrid drive event, Lincoln also told us that it is planning to add four all-new models to its lineup within the next four years.
