After a dinner at the Detroit Auto Show there is now speculation that Ford is working on a successor to the GT supercar that was built in 2005 and 2006. At a dinner with several journalists, Derrick Kuzak, head of global product development may have diverted a question about a successor the GT in such a way that may have hinted at the fact that it could be in the works.
According to Automobile, Kuzak’s response to the question about a successor was that he was not comfortable discussing certain things in Ford’s four-year product plan. Of course that isn’t a confirmation that Ford is working on a new GT, but the awkward response does mean that there is a possibility that something could be in the works…
