Ford has announced that production of the Ford Focus RS will end in April. Production of the high-performance Focus RS will come to an end on April 6 after Ford completes production of 50 “Heritage Edition” models that will be sold in the U.K.

The 350 horsepower Focus RS is produced in Saarlouis, Germany. Production of the rest of the Focus lineup is scheduled to end later this year at its Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne as it retools the plant for the new Ranger and Bronco.

The next-generation 2019 Focus will be produced in China. It’s not known if a new Focus RS is planned.
