First Photo of Refreshed 2012 Chevy Impala Leaked

Here’s the first look at the slightly refreshed 2012 Chevy Impala thanks to a leak. The changes on the outside of the 2012 Impala are so minimal, that most people won’t even notice it. The front fascia gets a new mesh grile, but everything else looks the same. GM says that the rear fascia has also been updated, but this is the only photo we have so far of the Impala.
The more exciting news is that the 2012 Impala is now powered by the direct-injected 3.6L V6, which is going to put out 302 horsepower. That’s a big improvement over the 2011 Impala’s base V6 that only puts out 211 horsepower.
These changes are supposed to keep the Impala fresh until the all-new 2014 Impala is released.
Stay tuned for the official unveiling of the 2012 model.
