Ferrari just took the wraps off the convertible version of the 458 Speciale, the 458 Speciale A with the “A” standing for Aperta. The 458 Speciale Aperta is going to be officially unveiled next month at the Paris Motor Show.
The 458 Speciale Aperta (Italian for “open”) is powered by a 4.5 liter V8 with 597 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 398 lb-ft. of torque delivered at 6,000 rpm. It only takes three seconds to reach 0-62 mph and 9.5 seconds to complete the 0-124 mph sprint.

Ferrari says that it only takes 14 seconds to lower or raise the retractable hard top and the weight difference between the 458 Speciale A and coupe is only 110 pounds.
The 458 Speciale A holds the title as Ferrari’s most aerodynamic convertible ever and will debut at the show in a triple-layer yellow livery with a Blu Nart and Bianco Avus central stripe with five-spoke forged wheels in Grigio Corsa. The interior features blue carbon fiber with redesigned seats wrapped in Alcantara.
Production will be limited to just 499 units.
