If you love the Dodge Challenger, but really are dreaming about the Hellcat with its Widebody, Dodge has just made it a bit easier to get the Challenger Widebody. Dodge announced Friday that it will offer the 2021 Challenger R/T Scat Pack Shaker and T/A 392 with the Widebody package.

The 2021 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Shaker comes with the Shaker hood that provides more cool air for the 485-hp 392 Hemi V8 engine. The Widebody package adds 3.5 inches of overall width, stickier 305/35ZR20 Pirelli tires mounted to 20-by-11-inch wheels, an SRT-tuned chassis and SRT-tuned high-performance adaptive damping suspension.

2021 Dodge Challenger T/A 392 Widebody builds on the T/A legacy with Painted Satin Black hood, Satin Black wrap roof and deck-lid, Roof and deck-lid graphic paired to the T/A body-side stripes, “Air Catcher” headlamps with LED-illuminated T/A logos and more.

“The Widebody on Charger and Challenger continues to gain traction, making way for wider wheels and tires, which means more grip and faster times at the drag strip,” said Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America.

Dodge says that the Widebody package shortens the quarter-mile time by 0.2 seconds.

The 2021 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Shaker Widebody starts at $49,185, including destination and the T/A 392 starts at $50,585. The Challenger R/T Scat Pack Shaker Widebody arrives early next year, while the Challenger T/A 392 Widebody will arrive in spring 2021.
