Yesterday Dodge revealed all the updates to the 2019 Dodge Challenger and now we have the full pricing details. The 2019 Challenger will start at $27,295 when it arrives in the fourth quarter of this year.
The bigger news is that Dodge has also announced the pricing for the 797 horsepower Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, which starts at $69,650. If you missed it, the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye fills some of the void that’s been left by the departure of the Challenger SRT Demon. It’s powered by the same supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI engine that also powered the Demon with 797 horsepower and 707 lb.-ft. of torque. It reaches 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and the quarter mile in 10.8 seconds at 131 mph. The Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye also comes with a $1,700 gas guzzler tax.
At the other end of the lineup, the 2019 Challenger is powered by a 305-horsepower 3.6L Pentastar V-6, that’s offered in the SXT and GT models. The 2019 Challenger R/T models are powered by a 5.7-liter HEMI with 375 horsepower and up to 410 lb.-ft. of torque that can be mated to either an eight-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission. The Challenger R/T starts at $34,100.
The 2019 Challenger R/T Scat Pack starts at $38,995 and is powered by the 392 HEMI V-8 with 485 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque. Lastly the 2019 Challenger SRT Hellcat now has 717 horsepower and starts $5,000 lower at $58,650.
