It’s being reported that the 2015 Charger is going to get the same 707 horsepower supercharged 6.2L V8 engine as the Challenger Hellcat.
Last week we learned that the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is powered by a 6.2L supercharged engine with an insane 707 horsepower. Now it’s being reported that the 2015 Charger is going to get the same engine sometime this fall.
Dodge officially put the refreshed 2015 Challenger at the top of any muscle car fan’s list with the Challenger Hellcat and its supercharged V8 that not only packs 707 horsepower, but also generates 650 lb-ft. of torque – more horsepower and torque than even the Viper. Chrysler hasn’t made the official announcement yet about the Charger Hellcat, but earlier this year it was confirmed that the Charger would be offered with a supercharged V8.

It’s expected that the the Charger Hellcat will arrive sometime before the end of the year.
