Chrysler Confirms Production of the Dodge Hornet Supermini


Chrysler is about to announce that the Dodge Hornet Euro B-Car is going to be produced. The car will be produced by Chinese automaker Chery and there will not be a Chrysler version of the car.

The concept version of the Hornet was unveiled at the 2006 Geneva Auto Show and Chrysler could unveil a pre-production version of the car at the Frankfurt Auto Show this fall.

The concept Hornet had a supercharged 170 horsepower 4-cylinder engine that was capable of going 0-60 in 6.7 seconds.

It hasn’t been confirmed if we will get it here in the U.S. Chrysler could use this car in the U.S.
