Fiat is planning on rebadging the new Chrysler 300 as the Lancia Thema in Europe. The Lancia flagship sedan will debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show this coming spring, with sales starting in late 2011.

Fiat’s Sergio Marchionne wants to merge the Chrysler and Lancia brands, which will see future models sharing platforms and styling. The Lancia version of the Chrysler 300 will get a different grille and European-spec bumpers.

Both models will be produced at Chrysler’s Brampton plant in Ontario, Canada.
