Chevy Reportedly Working on a Two-Door Cruze

The Chevy Cruze has been a huge success for GM. It was even the best-selling small car in May, which obviously was due to a lack of supply from Toyota and Honda. But to keep the momentum going, GM is reportedly working on a two-door Cruze.

The reports aren’t surprising, since GM did have coupe versions of the Cruze’s predecessors, the Cobalt and Cavalier. Nothing has been officially confirmed, but it’s being reported that development is under way and that the coupe will be produced at GM’s Orion, Michigan, the same plant that builds the Sonic.

Right now GM is focusing on producing the new Sonic, so officials are ignoring any direct questions about the two-door Cruze.
