GM showed off a near-production version of the upcoming Chevy Cruze hatchback at the 2010 Paris Motor Show and thankfully it looks like the production version is going to remain very close to what we saw in Paris.

GM recently registered trademark filings with the European patent office, which reveals the actual shape and design of the five-door hatchback. The most notable change is that the front bumper gets less snazzy fog lights instead of the LED strips. The alloy wheels are also smaller and the taillights are expected to more conventional.

As of right now there are no plans to bring the five-door Cruze to the US.
