Cadillac has officially confirmed that it will reveal the XT6 three-row crossover next month at the Detroit Auto Show.

The Cadillac XT6 will slot above the XT4 and XT5 crossovers, but will still be smaller than the Escalade. Cadillac hasn’t revealed too much about the XT6, but it has been reported that its interior will be nearly identical to the smaller XT5, with the exception of the addition of a third row seat.

Cadillac needs the XT6 to be a hit, since it’s already started to kill off its sedan lineup. The ATS sedan has already been discontinued and next year the CT6 and XTS will also disappear from its US lineup.

The 2019 Detroit Auto Show kicks off on January 13, so stay tuned for all the details.
