Cadillac has already confirmed the names for two of its upcoming electric vehicles, Lyriq and Celestiq, but now we may know the name for another one – Symboliq.

Cadillac Society discovered that Cadillac recently trademarked the name “Symboliq” with the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property. It was also trademarked with the US Patent and Trademark office on Jul 21, 2020.

According to the trademark, the Symboliq name is for “motor land vehicles, namely, automobiles”.

Cadillac hasn’t announced anything, but the Cadillac Symboliq could be its third electric vehicle out of the five EVs that Cadillac is planning to introduce over the next few years. Cadillac has three other electric SUVs in the works, in addition to the Lyriq, so the Cadillac Symoliq could be one of them.

We’ll get to see the midsize Cadillac Lyriq electric crossover on August 6.
