Cadillac is giving the 2020 XT5 crossover several updates for the new model year, which includes a new turbocharged engine and over 40 other updates.
On the outside the 2020 XT5 has been refreshed with a new bolder grille, standard LED headlights and a restyled front and fascias. The styling updates are topped off with new 18-inch and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Under the hood a new 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder has been added, which generates 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of torque. For buyers that want more power, the 3.6L V6 is available with 310 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of torque. Both engines are mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
There are several tech updates as well, like 15-watt wireless charging, an updated instrument cluster display, available night vision, rear pedestrian alert and a new rotary controller for the infotainment system.
Just like the rest of the updated Cadillac lineup, the 2020 XT5 follow’s the brand’s new “Y” trim strategy, which means that it’s available in three trim levels: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport.
The 2020 Cadillac XT5 will be available later this summer.
