Cadillac has confirmed plans to suspend its Book by Cadillac subscription service starting on December 1, but it plans to relaunch it early next year.
“Book by Cadillac is not canceled,” Cadillac spokesman Andrew Lipman told Automotive News. “We are stopping it for a short period of time to then relaunch it based off the learning we have made in early Q1. We are hitting the pause button and we will be back.”
The Book by Cadillac subscription service currently operates in New York City, Dallas and Los Angeles, but it’s not known what changes Cadillac is working on. The subscription launched in early 2017 as a way for users to have access to several Cadillac models for a $1,800 monthly fee.
